“An attractive country pub with the community at its heart”

…is what best describes The Kangaroo Inn. We take pride in our fine ales and good pub grub.

We celebrate great ales on a regular basis, especially at our annual beer festival – held over the August Bank Holiday since 1999.

You’ll find over 20 different ales,  ciders and perrys;  plus, live music and barbecues all weekend long.

We also participate in The Clun Valley Beer Festival – held over the last weekend in September.

Apart from supporting local schools and charities, our pet charities are the Lewy Body Society (a type of dementia), Midlands Air Ambulance and CRYCardiac Risk in the Young.
Quiz nights, promise auctions and car boot sales are amongst the many fundraising events we hold to raise money for these worthy causes.

There are two campsites within about a half-mile staggering distance plus bed and breakfasts, and holiday cottages – which also help make this area a great retreat.
